Following Google's August 21 event that saw the company confirming 'Oreo' moniker for Android 8.0, smartphone companies have started confirming which of their phones will be getting the new release. BlackBerry was first (for the Keyone), and now it's HTC.
The Taiwanese company has confirmed that the HTC 10, U Ultra and U11 smartphones will be getting the Android Oreo update.
The tweet also confirms a global roll out, so no one will be left behind. However, there was no word on exactly when the update will begin hitting these devices. HTC says details regarding this and other handsets that will be getting Oreo will be announced soon.
