Free skill training will be imparted under DDUGKY, RSETI and TNSDC schemes at the Youth Talent Festival to be held in Thondamuthur block on The 12th.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission (Women's Programme) will organise a block-level youth skill festival at Thondamuthur in Coimbatore district on November 12, district collector Sameeran said.
According to a statement issued by District Collector Sameeran, a youth skill festival will be held at block level in Karamadai block through The Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission (Women's Project) in Coimbatore district.
Rural and urban youth (male, female, bisexual) in the age group of 18 to 45 years are eligible to participate in this free skill training to be held under DDUGKY, RSETI, TNSDC.
It will be held at Santhalinga Adigalar Tamil College, Perur from 9 am to 4 pm.
Under the Tuki scheme, training will be offered on Warhouse Supervisor, Retail Sales Associate, Android Mobile Phone Operator, Assistant Catering Manager General Duty Assistant, Hearing Machine Operator NITS, Business Correspondent and Business Baggiliator.
Under the RSETI programme, trainings on beauty parlour management, women's tailoring, candle making, pickle and masala powder, costume jewellery, Bee keeping and under the TNSDC programme will be conducted under sectors such as IT's, Apparel, Automotive, Textile and Handlooms, Healthcare etc.
The youth who have studied from Class VIII to graduation will have to participate in the youth skill festival along with education certificate, Aadhar card, profile, photograph and other eligibility certificates (original and duplicate).
