Coimbatore-Salem MEMU Passenger (06802), which was stopped due to covid-19 lockdown, was launched on June 11 after a gap of two-and-a-half years. Passengers were happy as the train was running after a long time.
However, due to engineering upgradation work between Kaveri and Anangur from The 12th, the next day, the train was running only from Coimbatore to Erode till yesterday. After the completion of the work, train movement is being restored from today onwards.
