In core Chennai:

Up by 50% for under 600 Sq Ft

Up by 75% for 600-1200 Sq Ft

100% increase for 1201-1800 Sq Ft

150% rise for 1800 Sq Ft & above

150% rise for Commercial buildings

100% increase for Industrial / Educational buildings

In areas that became part of Chennai city in 2011 & other corporations in TN:

25% increase for under 600 Sq Ft

75% up for 600-1200 Sq Ft

100% hike for 1200-1800 Sq Ft

150% up for 1800 Sq Ft plus

Up by 100% for Commercial buildings

75% for Industrial & Educational buildings

Municipalities & Town Panchayats:

Up by 25% for Residential construction under 600 Sq Ft

Up by 50% for 601-1200 Sq Ft

Up by 75% for 1201-1800 Sq Ft Residential buildings

100% increase for Residential buildings above 1800 Sq Ft

100% increase for Commercial buildings and 75% hike for Industrial & Educational institution buildings
