The Salem Divisional Railways has announced to operate express trains without the pre-booked coaches through Coimbatore, starting from the 20th of January.
Coimbatore: The Southern Railways has announced that it will operate express trains without the pre-booked coaches through the Coimbatore Junction, starting from the 20th of January.
The Salem Railways informed that express trains with un-booked coaches will be run via the Coimbatore route from January 20.
In a press release issued by the Salem Railway Divisional Management said, “The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Intercity Express (No:12678) will run on Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Salem route with 4 General Second Class coaches from January 20. Coimbatore-Tirupati Express (No: 22616) will run with 6 General Second Class coaches from February 8.â€
