Subsidy announced to allow destitute women purchase goats in Coimbatore

According to a press release, in all the Panchayat Unions, 100 female beneficiaries will be selected under the scheme of providing five goats or sheep at 100 per cent subsidy to poor widows, widowers and destitute women.

Beneficiaries of the scheme will be provided with five goats or sheep at 100 per cent subsidy and they will be trained in maintenance.

Feed amount will be 200 rupees per year will also be provided. For details, the nearest veterinary dispensary can be contacted.
