The Coimbatore District Collector Dr G.S. Sameeran, has invited applications from girl children who are below the age of 18, who are achievers for the state government. As part of the award deserving girls will be given and a cheque of ₹.1 lakh.
Coimbatore: The district collector Dr G.S. Sameeran, has stated that girl children below 18-years of age shall apply for the state government award who achieved great in various fields.
National Girl Child Day is observed on 24th January. On that day, a state government award, which includes a cheque of ₹.1 lakh, and a citation will be given to girls below the age of 18 years who are achievers in fields. The awards will be present to the deserving girls at the state government function.
Applications are invited for the 2022 edition of the the State Government Award, from girls are achievers. Applicant should be between 5 years and 18 years of age as on 31st December. The applicant should be a resident of Tamil Nadu.
The girls who have achieved in various fields including in helping in the education of other girls, eradication of girl child labour, prevention of girl child marriage, outstanding and unique achievements, awareness through paintings, poems, and essays to deal with social misery and superstitions against women.
It has been informed that applications should be submitted by 5 pm on November 10 at District Social Officer, Room No.5, District Collectorate, Coimbatore.
