Coimbatore:Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner, Raja Gopal Sunkara has announced that people over 65 years of age can get their second dose of Covishield vaccine at the vaccination camp which is to be held tomorrow (July 10) in 5 zones in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore:Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner, Raja Gopal Sunkara has announced that people over 65 years of age can get their second dose of Covishield vaccine at the vaccination camp which is to be held tomorrow (July 10) in 5 zones in Coimbatore.
The camp is being held to control the further spread of Covid-19.
Steps have been taken to ensure that those above 65 years of age who have been vaccinated with the first dose of Covishield before March 31 are given priority for their second dose, taking into account the health of those over 65 years of age. Accordingly, the Corporation has set up a special camp for those above 65 years of age to be vaccinated in the five zones on July 10.
200 people will be vaccinated in each zone and people have been instructed by the Corporation Commissioner to adhere to the Government's health guidelines and receive their second dose of Covishield at the following centers:
East Zone‌ - Ramachetty School, Ward No.37
West Zone - Ammani Ammal School, Ward No.23
Northern Zone‌ - Government High School, Ward No.46
Southern Zone‌ - Corporation Primary School, Ward No.78
Central Zone - Siddaputhur School, Ward No.52
