Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners exempted from providing Life Certificate: District Collector Sameeran


Coimbatore: In a press release issued by the District Collector it said the Tamil Nadu government will exempt pensioners from submitting life certificate due to the lockdown.

According to District Collector KS Sameeran, interviews with pensioners and family pensioners working in the Government of Tamil Nadu are usually conducted every year in July, August and September at the District Treasury and Sub-Treasury offices. He said that due to the ongoing coronavirus infection, special interviews at Coimbatore district treasury offices, submission of lifetime certificates through ‘Jeevan Brahman’ website are being considered.
