Coimbatore: 25 doctors have been temporarily appointed for coronavirus prevention through interview for a period of three months in Coimbatore Corporation.

The spread of coronavirus infection is increasing in Coimbatore district. Around 3500 people are infected with coronavirus infection every day. Most of these people belong to the corporation area. About 57 percent of the damage is reported in the corporation.

Meanwhile, the corporation administration is taking various measures to control the spread of coronavirus infection. At the same time, coronavirus patients are being treated at government hospitals, ESI hospitals, coronavirus treatment centers set up on behalf of the corporation and the district administration. 25 doctors have been appointed temporarily for the coronavirus prevention work in Coimbatore for a period of three months through interviews.

A corporation official said, "Interviews were held todayfor the appointment of temporary doctors by the corporation. The announcement was made earlier. The interview was attended by 34 government-accredited doctors. They will be given a sum of Rs 60,000 per month."
