Train services between Tamil Nadu and Kerala via Pollachi suspended due to Covid-19 curfew

A huge spike in Covid-19 cases has been reported in major states across the country including Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: A huge spike in Covid-19 cases has been reported in major states across the country including Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Respective state officials and administrations are imposing several restrictions which includes temporary suspension of bus services between states.

Meanwhile, due to curfew in both Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Palakkad Sub Divisional Railway Officials have announced that the Amrita special train from Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kerala will be suspended from May 15 to 31. Similarly, the Amrita special train from Madurai Junction in Tamil Nadu to Thiruvananthapuram has also been suspended from May 16 till June 1.
