Iron girder Laying Work: Rail tracks diverted
Coimbatore: The construction of an Iron girder in Kerala has resulted in a change in the operation of the Coimbatore-bound train.
According to a press release issued by the Railway Administration, the Coimbatore route has been rescheduled due to work to replace the 'iron girder' of the railway bridge in Kerala.
The Thiruvananthapuram-Secunderabad Special (07229) will be rescheduled to run via Alappuzha tomorrowand on the 24th. According to the Southern Railway, the train will not run on the Chengannur-Kottayam route but will be diverted via Alappuzha and Ernakulam on both the days.
