Students of classes 10, 11 and 12 allowed to partially attend school from October 1 - Tamil Nadu Government
Coimbatore: The Tamill Nadu Government announced that 10th, 11th and 12th students will be partially allowed to attend school from October 1.
The fourth phase of the lockdown was announced by the Union Home Ministry on August 29 with several relaxations. It said schools would be granted permission to open from September 21. The central government had said that 10th, 11th and 12th grade students would be allowed to come to school from September 21 if they so wish.
Under the circumstances, students of classes 10, 11 and 12 of government, government-aided and private schools have been given permission to come to the school for clearing doubts for specific subjects. Schools outside containment zones will be allowed to open and teachers are advised to divide students into smaller groups and bring them to school on different days to avoid crowding.
Sources say that a detailed report may be released after a meeting on the 28th.
