Covid-19: 71,293 PCR tests conducted in Coimbatore district, so far

Coimbatore: A total of 71,293 persons have undergone PCR tests for COVID-19 in Coimbatore district.


Coimbatore: A total of 71,293 persons have undergone PCR tests for COVID-19 in Coimbatore district.

Many relaxations have been given now and businesses, shopping complexes, auto, taxi etc. are operating with restrictions. In the meantime, coronavirus infection has started to increase in the Coimbatore district over the past few days with people coming in from other districts, states and countries.

Coronavirus tests are carried out in isolated/contained areas, airports and crowded public places.

District Collector Rajamani said that the number of COVID-19 laboratories in Coimbatore district has been increased to 10 and 71,293 samples have been processed so far.
