Coimbatore: As the city is geared up to celebrate the traditional Konaimman Temple Car (Ther, தேரà¯) festival, the City Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic diversion for Wednesday.
Coimbatore: As the city is geared up to celebrate the traditional Konaimman Temple Car (Ther, தேரà¯) festival, the City Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic diversion for Wednesday.
Traffic will be diverted from 12 PM to 8 PM on March 4 (Wednesday) due to Koniamman temple chariot procession that is set to begin at 2 PM.
No vehicles will be allowed to be parked at Raja street, Vysial Street and KG street from 8 AM to 8 PM on March 4.
Traffic Diversion
All vehicles entering the city from Palakkad and Pollachi road via Ukkadam can reach their respective destination via Sungam Bypass, Railway Bridge and Classic Tower, opposite to GH.
All vehicles from Avinashi Road, Trichy Road travelling to Vysial Street should reach Town Hall, Ukkadam and reach Perur via Shivalaya Junction via Perur Bypass Road.
Vehicles coming from Perur via Chetti street and Raja street can reach Gandhipark via Sullivan Road and reach the destinations
The City Police have sought the cooperation of people for this temporary traffic arrangement.
