Coimbatore: A career guidance exhibition and conference will be conducted for the students staying in the BC, MBC and Minority Welfare Hostels at the District Collectorate on February 15, 2020, informed District Collector K. Rajamani.
He noted that the conference and exhibition is jointly organised by the District Employment and Career Guidance Center along with the District Backward Classes Welfare department.
“Experts from various fields will create awareness and clarify the doubts on topics like job opportunities in private sectors, free coaching classes held by the District employment centre, competitive government exams, national job opportunities for higher studies, techniques for attending interviews, self employment, loans for self employment, job opportunities in the defence forces, job opportunities abroad and monetary assistance for unemployed and skill development“, the Collector noted.
He added that explanatory charts, drawings and books will be displayed on relevant topics. The Collector requested the students staying at the BC, MBC and Minority Welfare Hostels to take part in the initiative and benefit.
