Special buses for Pongal announced; 400 buses to operate from Coimbatore

Coimbatore: In view of the upcoming Pongal festival, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced special buses across all districts to clear the festive rush.

Coimbatore: In view of the upcoming Pongal festival, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced special buses across all districts to clear the festive rush. 

For Coimbatore, 400 special buses have been announced and will be operated to various parts of the State, from January 10 onwards. 

From January 10 onwards, the special buses will be operated from Singanallur bus stand to Southern districts like Madurai, Aruppukkottai, Ettayapuram, Thoothukudi, Thiruchendur, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Nagercoil.

Special buses to Chennai, Salem and Trichy will be operated from the temporary bus terminal that will be set up near CODISSIA Road on Avinashi Road.
