Price forecasting Scheme of Centre for Agricultural and Rural development studies of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on analysing the market trends for past fifteen years for coriander at Virudhunagar market has predicted that the coriander price will be around Rs.8,500 per quintal at the time of harvesting. A press release from the TNAU stated seeds of golden brown hue when harvested will fetch premium price. Farmers are advised to make their sowing decisions based on this advisory.
