Agri Intex 2023 to be inaugurated in Coimbatore on July 14: many modern technologies featured from India and abroad

The 'Agri Intex 2023', an agriculture exhibition, will begin on July 14 at the CODISSIA campus in Coimbatore. The agriculture exhibition organisers said that the exhibition will showcase modern technologies from India and abroad.



Coimbatore: 'Agri Intex 2023', an agriculture exhibition, will begin on July 14 at the Codissia campus in Coimbatore.

The Agri Index 2023 Agriculture Expo, one of india's premier agri-business fairs, is all set to open on July 14 at the Codissia complex in Coimbatore. The exhibition, which will be held as the 21st edition, will be inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Panneerselvam and Housing, Urban Development and Prohibition Excise Minister Muthusamy.



In this context, a press conference was held in Coimbatore. The exhibition's president Dinesh Kumar, Codissia president Thirugnanam and Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Agricultural University vice-chancellor Geetha Lakshmi spoke to reporters.

“The 21st edition of the Agriculture Fair will be held for four days from July 14 to July 17. The exhibition will be held with the aim of bringing about changes in Indian agriculture through precision farming and micro-irrigation.

The event will be attended by agro-based companies based on modern technology from Korea, Israel, Japan, Sweden, France, maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and other states of India.

The exhibition, which will feature more than 450 stalls, will feature modern drone tools, automation, solar pumps, micro-irrigation, precision farming, farm mechanization, Special technologies including low water use farming methods, value addition and animal husbandry automated methods, composite value products, post-harvest technology, agriculture market, etc. will be given attention.

It will also feature a wide variety of agro-based products including farm machinery, equipment, irrigation implements, animal husbandry, fences, weighing machines, pumps, fertilisers, seeds, etc.

Agriculture experts, food processing industry, input, seed producers, investors, distributors, researchers, bankers, farmers, general public and many others from across the country will participate in this mega agriculture expo.”



Agri Index Vice President Srihari and Kodisia Secretary Sasikumar were also present during the meeting.
