TNAU to host two-day training on Preparation of Bakery and Confectionery Products on Oct. 13 and 14

The two-day program will impart training on a Variety of Breads, Cake and Biscuit Varieties, Chocolate (homemade), Fruit candy, Chikkies, Lollipop and Jujips, Fondant and Fudge. A training fee of Rs.1770 is being charged for the two-day training program.


Coimbatore: A two-day training program on 'Preparation of Bakery and Confectionery Products' will be held at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore on October 13 and 14.

Bakery products are gaining popularity due to its convenience, variety, easy availability and unique taste. The growth of the baking industry has also helped to create avenues for self-employment. Varieties of confectionery products are prepared from the combination of sugar, cocoa and dairy products etc. With an aim to develop skilled entrepreneurs in the baking industry, this training has been organized by TNAU.

The following aspects will be covered in the training:

ï‚· Cake and Biscuit varieties

ï‚· Chocolate (home-made)

ï‚· Fruit candy

ï‚· Chikkies

ï‚· Lollipop and Jujups

ï‚· Fondant and Fudge

Those interested in attending the training program are requested to pay a training fee of Rs.1770 in person on the first day of the training.
