TNAU to offer one-day training on 'Mass Production and Use of Predators and Parasitoids' on Sep. 2 in its Coimbatore campus

Candidates wishing to participate in TNAU's one-day training need to remit Rs.900 as the training fee at the Department of Agricultural Entomology by 9 am on September 2.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will offer a one-day training on 'Mass Production and Use of Predators and Parasitoids' on Sep. 2 at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, TNAU in Coimbatore.

Hands-on training will be imparted on the following aspects of Parasitoids and Predators:

Identification of parasitoids

Identification of predators

Mass culturing of Corcyra cephalonica

Mass production of Tricho cards

Mass production of larval parasitoids

Mass production of green lace wing fly

Mass production of lady bird beetle

Mass production of Parasitoid of papaya mealy bug

Parasitoids and Predators in insect pest management
