Agricultural Production Commissioner visits TNAU campus


Gangandeep Singh Bedi, Agricultural Production Commissioner (APC) and Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu visited the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) today. He interacted with scientists about various activities of the varsity. He also visited TNAU’s paddy breeding centre, wetlands, orchard, post harvest technology centre, Directorate of Agri Business Development, sustainable organic agriculture, centre for plant molecular biology and biotechnology and keenly observed the ongoing research activities. 



Dr. K. Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU briefed the APC of the activities of TNAU. APC acknowledged and appreciated the contributions of TNAU towards the farming community of Tamil Nadu. On behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu APC assured TNAU support for its education research and extension activities.
