One day training on mass production of biological control agents in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University

To create awareness on the beneficial insects and their mass production a training programme for one day on mass production and field application of biological control agents in crop cultivation has been planned by TNAU. This training programme will explain the use of common biological control agents like parasitoids, predators and entomopathogens the forenoon and the practicals on the mass production and field application of biocontrol agents in the afternoon. The participants will be issued the certificate.

Not only farmers but entrepreneurs, youth and people doing kitchen gardening also will be benefitted by the training programme. The training programme is fixed on 22-6-2016 (Wednesday) which starts from 9:00 AM in the morning at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, TNAU, Coimbatore.

The interested persons are requested to register on or before June 20, 2016, up to 5:00 PM. The fee for the one-day training programme is Rs.750/. The participants will be included for the training on first cum first serve basis.
