Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) announced that the varsity will begin its online academic admissions for its Under Graduate (UG) programmes for academic year 2021-22 from 8 September onwards.

TNAU offers 11 UG study programmes through 14 constituent and 28 affiliated colleges.
Starting from the present academic year onwards, Agriculture and Horticulture degree programmes will be offered in the native (Tamil) language also at Agricultural College and Research Institute and Horticultural College and Research Institute, Coimbatore.
Dr. M. Kalyanasundaram, Dean (Agriculture) and Chairman Admissions Committee informed that, the Government of Tamil Nadu has also announced during the budget section its intention to start one Horticultural College at Jeenur in Krishnagiri and three Agricultural Colleges at Karur, Nagapattinam and Sivagangai as Constituent colleges of TNAU during the academic year 2021-22 itself.
