After 50 days of a tiring but adventurous and memorable journey along 20,963 km, Team XPD Beyond Asia nears the fag end of their Trans-Siberian Highway Expedition with just 750 km to cover. The team of 8 in two Tata Hexas kick-started their expedition from Coimbatore and headed toward St. Petersburgh in a bid to spread awareness about cervical cancer.

Day 50 dawned as an enjoyable day for the team after a sweet sleep and breakfast at leisure. "Vinogradova Elena, our guide as promised, showed up like she always does. On the dot," said Meenakshi, the team Captain. When Meenakshi contacted her three months ago knowing that she was a jam-packed guide and needed to be booked much ahead of time, Vinogradova Elena had organised tickets for the Kremlin, Diamond Fund, the armoury and Bolshoi too.
Though the day was cold and drizzling, the team had their metro tour before it got too crowded. Meenakshi noticed that Elena explained everything in detail and though it was the third tour for Meenakshi, she felt she had still learnt so many new things.
The team then went on to the Kremlin Complex to see the Swan Lake in Bolshoi. "It feels so good to be back in Moscow," exulted Meenakshi in anticipation of more sightseeing around the place.
