A freezing day at Chuanzhusi! The climate just close to 1 degree C with some stunning views and snow-clad mountains, the team shares that it was a breath-taking sight.

'We are in the north of Sichuan Province now . As we went up to an altitude of 10000 feet, the cold was barely tolerable as the sun was shining. As we descended into the valley the terrain changed into pine trees and greenery, much like the alps, laden with snow.

Jiuzhaigou Valley is part of the Min Mountains on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau and stretches over 72,000 hectares (180,000 acres). It is known for its many multi-level waterfalls, colorful lakes, and snow-capped peaks. Its elevation ranges from 2,000 to 4,500 metres (6,600 to 14,800 ft).
Jiuzhaigou Valley was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1992 and a World Biosphere Reserve in 1997. It belongs to the category V (Protected Landscape) in the IUCN system of protected area categorization.

We got aboard buses to be let off at various stops to see beautiful lakes & waterfalls.
By 4 pm we decided to stop for the day and rest ourselves at aTibetan style hotel' shared the team.
