Eid-ul-Adha Meeting in Coimbatore - organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind

In Coimbatore, the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Metropolitan Branch organized an Eid-ul-Fitr meeting. The event, held in a luxury hotel, was attended by government officials, academicians, religious leaders, social service activists, and many others.



Coimbatore: Government officials, academicians, religious leaders, social activists and others participated in the Eid al-Adha meet held in Coimbatore.

The Eid-ul-Fitr meeting was organised on behalf of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Coimbatore Metropolitan Branch. The event, which took place at The Grand Regent Hotel on Avinashi Road, opened with the words of Allah and welcome speech by Teacher Salim, vice-principal of Islamia Matriculation School.

This was followed by a keynote address by Maulvi Muhammad Ismail Imdadi, Principal, Hitaya Women's Islamic College. During the festivals, it should become a day to celebrate the common man with joy and exchange of joy. This is what the festival of Eid emphasizes.

In his keynote address, he said that brotherhood and harmony among communities would flourish by organizing such gatherings by all religions to understand the beliefs of every religion and fraternity.



Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeesh IPS, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said, "Students should be taught about all religions in schools. This will promote social understanding and brotherhood and remove misconceptions.

Individual or group wrongdoings should not be inflicted on a certain community. When such a young community is recruited, our country will make great progress."

The guests were felicitated by Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Dr. K. Bhaktavatsalam, President of KG Hospital, and Dr. Vinu Aram, President of Shanti Ashram.



Janab P S Umar Farooq, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Coimbatore, concluded the event with a vote of thanks. It was attended by a large number of government officials, academicians, religious leaders and social activists.
