None of these ideas disappoint.
When it comes to the tiniest of spaces, even the tiniest amount of added storage helps, and it doesn't have to be expensive. In this powder room makeover, House of Jade Interiors added a small sliver of marble to the new pedestal sink as a shelf, which is just enough room for hand soap, and even a little plant.
Don't let a small budget discourage you from tackling your space. In this washroom we found on Making it Lovely, Nicole was able to update the look and feel of her space without much heavy lifting—mostly using paint. Her hand painted floor pattern is an affordable update that made the space much more visually interesting and, if you ask us, feel larger as well. Some new hardware and accessories, and Nicole's washroom feels completely made over.
Ashley never ceases to amaze and we are pretty shocked at the transformation of this little bathroom. Their tiny 6' x 8' guest washroom was a gut job, but they saved money by keeping the same floorplan and not moving any of the plumbing or electrical. We love the smart additions, like the outlet and wall shelf above the toilet for guest to use when getting ready.
Previously construction orange, Brittany's washroom upgrade is now oh-so-dreamy. With its patterned floral wallpaper, an interesting shaped countertop (made from a stone remnants), and the addition of brass elements, this washroom redesign is what we're talking about. We especially love the way the pendants hang from the ceiling, which draws the eye up to take in the height of the walls.
Not that we're choosing favorites, but can we talk about this arched shower? This petite hallway bathroom is so sweet. Keeping a lot of the vintage charm in tact (like said shower), Robert and Christina's washroom reno is vintage with a modern twist. The two kept the vintage pedestal sink and just upgraded it with new hardware. They kept it classic with black and white hex on the floors, but this space feels brand new.
The tiniest room in Kyla's whole house (and in the basement at that) is this fun and funky bathroom, which came a long way from where it once was. Fun and funky palm wallpaper, complemented by black accents and a big round wooden mirror to reflect light, this washroom has a new lease on life.
Megan made a few really smart decisions in this tiny bathroom. In order to make the room feel more spacious, she went with a freestanding sink, giving the illusion of more space. A plant stand acts as a storage spot to house towels, in lieu of a shelf. And we can't get enough of her tile hack: To avoid re-grouting (and to save some coin) Megan simply painted the grout a darker color.
