Budget bathroom makeovers
Bathroom makeovers are unmitigated pleasure — you get all the instant satisfaction of seeing a beautiful new space, without all the painting, tiling and building work. So, if you just want a quick fix this week, or need a little inspiration for your own home projects, take a gander at some of our favorite budget transformations from this year. It's incredible how much can be done with very little.
A well-timed bridal shower gift, a rich dark paint color and three days later, this bathroom is now sleek and sexy instead of boring and builder grade. Not too shabby for only $200:
This bathroom was super dated, and its owner braved the stress to DIY herself a new one for about $1,000. The "after" bathroom is an impressive moody, glam goth space — which we don't often see here on Apartment Therapy:
