'Star Wars' masks made from old louis vuitton bags will make you turn to the dark side

For most fashionistas, the very idea of cutting up a Louis Vuitton handbag is tantamount to sartorial sacrilege. But, these upcycled designer bags are every Star Wars fan's dream-come-true.

Artist and upcycle Gabriel Dishaw is turning vintage Louis Vuitton bags into Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and Stormtrooper sculptures. And, they're breathtaking works of art.

In addition to vintage designer luggage, Dishaw uses things like braided wire, computer chips, wire, and other electronic materials to create his intricate pieces.

"I’m constantly looking for new ways to use old materials, showcasing them in a new light that is of interest to me," reads a blog post on Dishaw's website.

Kylo Ren and Darth Vader feature pretty heavily in Dishaw's sculptures, suggesting he could very well favour the Dark Side.

The Vader sculptures kind of look like the Sith Lord has developed a penchant for fine leather goods. Good for you, Darth.

These sculptures don't come cheap, though. One of these bad boys will set you back upwards of $2,500 (£1,873), so you'd best start saving your pennies now.
