Apart from scientific facts, this mythological reason Is connected to menstrual cycle

Women are still going through this stereotype mentality!

If I talk about the current scenario, it is believed that there is no discrimination between men and women, women are moving shoulder to shoulder with men. But do you think this is actually true? Are women seen as the same as men? Well, I am not sure about this. Because there are still many stereotypes thinking in our culture that hold the women back.

The best example on this note is the menstrual cycle women go through. Even after seeing a big change in the society, women of some areas are still considered inferior when on their periods. The mentality of the people as compared to that of the old times has changed, but it is difficult to say that the discrimination has totally stopped.

We are all aware of the scientific reason behind the same, but did you know that according to the ancient times, there have been narrations about why a girl bears menstrual cycle. So, let's have a look at the tale.

Women don't like to talk about their periods, the menstrual pain or sex. And this is the reason why the stereotype mentalities are forced over them.

But do you know, there is a story behind women's period suffering? Let's unveil it today!

According to the, it is believed that upon a time, Guru Bá¹›haspati got angry with Lord Indra Dev. Taking advantage of this situation, Asuras attacked Devlok. Feared of the attack, Indradev decided to run away from his kingdom.

Looking for a solution, when Indradev reached the creator Brahma, he got to know that...

The creator Indra that in order to get his kingdom back, he has to serve a sage. If the sage gets happy with his offerings, he will get his kingdom back. Listening to the advice, Indradev started serving the sage. But less he knew that the sage's mother was an Asura, and so the sage was very close to the Asuras.

Since the sage was very close to the Asuras...

When Indradev learned about his cheating, he killed the sage.

According to the, killing a master was a serious crime and so Indradev was alleged by Brahman murder. For his safety, he escaped and stood hidden in a flower for a year and prayed to Lod Vishnu.

And...

By getting happy from the prayers of Indradev, Lord Vishnu saved him and gave him the advice to be allegation free. As per, for this, Indra was said to divide his part of the burden in trees, earth, water, and lady. But he was also asked to give them all one single blessing.

One-fourth part of the curse was given to the trees in return for which they were given a blessing as well. According to the blessing was that trees can regain life when they wish to.

When the water was cursed, it was blessed that it can purify other things of the world. This is the why in Hindu traditions water is considered pure and is used in many traditional acts.

The third part of the curse was given to the earth that in return the power to get healed. Now the last curse was given to women.

This way, women also got a part of the curse in the form of menstrual cycle. As per, it is believed that they were also blessed with a boon that they would be able to enjoy the work better than men.

Well, this is the reason why women have to pay the curse of Brahman murder every month.

And this is how ancient people narrated the reason behind girls getting menstrual cycles.
