600 students inducted on day 4 of induction program in KCE

Around 600 students from B.E. CSE, and B.Tech. IT programs participated. Pulavar M.Ramalingam, Prof. Pattimandram Speaker, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the chief guest.


Karpagam College of Engineering organized a one-week orientation program for first-year B.E. or B.Tech. students from September 14 to September 23, 2023.

On September 20, 2023, around 600 students from B.E. CSE, and B.Tech. IT programs participated. Pulavar M.Ramalingam, Prof. Pattimandram Speaker, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the chief guest.



The program starts with a prayer song, the welcome address was given by Dr. Ravichandran T, Head of the Department of Computer Science Engineering. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan, the principal of Karpagam College of Engineering, felicitates the gathering.

The presidential address was given by Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Karpagam Institutions. In his speech, he included the vast development of technology in recent years, which has brought enormous job opportunities for the students. He also insisted the students choose their role models in the names of Narayanamoorthy and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He further added that students should use their mobile devices for educational purposes.

After his speech, the Chief Guest was introduced by K.M.G. Athi Pandiyan, PRO, Karpagam Institutions. After that, Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Karpagam Institutions, honored the chief guest with a memento as a token of appreciation.

In his opening remarks, Pulavar M. Ramalingam urged the students to view their parents as their true role models. He persisted in encouraging the students not to stray and to focus on their intended course of action. He also mentioned Rishi Sunak, the ruler of the country that had long since subjugated us. He urges all of the students to let go of their inferiority complex, which will prevent them from succeeding. Finally, he made a point about how discipline and culture are just as significant as knowledge.

Following the address by the Chief Guest, Dr. Saravana Kumar, Head of the Department of Information and Technology gave a vote of appreciation to conclude the event.
