Beginning from the 2023-24 academic year, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) will introduce a common online application process for admissions to their undergraduate programs. A total of 756 aspirants have applied for the eminent sports quota and 79 applications were received under the differently-abled quota for this academic year.
Coimbatore: From the 2023-24 academic year, for the undergraduate programs, students will be admitted through a common online application for Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University.

Admissions will be taken at TNAU for 14 undergraduate programmes and 3 diploma programmes. Admission to six undergraduate programmes and three bachelor's degree programmes will be handled by TNJFU.
Counseling for eminent sports and differently-abled quota - A total of 756 aspirants have applied for the eminent sports quota and 79 applications were received under the differently-abled quota for this academic year. Following certificate verification, 287 and 77 applicants were deemed eligible for eminent sports and differently-abled quotas, respectively.
The rank lists were published on June 29, 2023. Offline counselling was held for these special reservations on 1.7.2023 at TNAU, Coimbatore. For the eminent sports person quota, 70 candidates were invited, while all 77 eligible candidates were summoned for the differently-abled quota.
Under the eminent sports quota, the sanctioned strength for TNAU and TNFU is 20 and 3, respectively. All 23 seats were filled. The differently-abled quota was filled with 64 seats.
