Coimbatore: The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the 17th Edition of the International Conference on “Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO-2023)†with the theme “Green Energy towards Global, Economic and Sustainable Development†during 10 th and 11 th March, 2023.

This conference aims to provide an international forum for the exchange of ideas in all the areas of Science and Engineering among multifaceted audience consisting of Academicians, Ph.D. scholars and industrialists. The conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr.Chithirai Pon Selvan, Director - Research, Curtin University, Dubai.
The Chief Guest elaborated on the “Role of Researchers in Sustainability†for the real-time scenarios and touched upon various applications in the fields of Mechanical, Computer, Computing and Information technologies. Dr. P. Vijayakumar, Principal, Karpagam College of Engineering presided over the function. He addressed the audience about role and revolution of AI in the different streams of engineering and technology. Dr. C.Krishnaraj, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering delivered the welcome address. The event was coordinated by Dr.Titus Thankachan, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering who delivered the conference report.
More than 451 research articles were submitted out of 200 were selected by group of reviewers for presentation in the conference. 153 papers were registered for presentation of their research work during the two days International Conference. Selected articles will be published in SCOPUS indexed journals with the author’s consent.
