Coimbatore: For the past 11 years, on March 8, Park Institutions in Coimbatore celebrates Women's Day as 'DURGA' in honour and remembrance of 'Nirbhaya' who was brutally gang raped on a moving bus in South Delhi, in 2012 and left to die on the roadside.
All girl students and lady faculty members participated in the 'Durga 2023' celebrations at Park Institutions' Kaniyur campus which comprised cultural activities and the traditional 'Silambam' performed by students.

Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, Park Institutions presided over the event and honoured lady achievers. During her speech, Dr. Anusha Ravi advised girl students to have the guts to come out of any trouble without any weapon in the their hands.
