Coimbatore: AA Road Safety Awareness Program was jointly organized by the Tamil Nadu College of Engineering and Maruti Driving School, Sulur, in Coimbatore on Wednesday in the morning hours at Kaniyur Toll Gate on NH 544.

The program aimed at creating awareness among students about traffic rules, regulations as well as educating motorists on the highway.
The Chief Guest, C Shanmugasundaram, Motor Vehicle Inspector, RTO, Sulur inaugurated the rally and highlighted issues pertaining to accidents and legal cases arising out of them. He urged the students to make people aware of the Motor Vehicles Act and concerned regulations.
Speaking at the rally, Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, Tamil Nadu College of Engineering appreciated the efforts of the Institution and lauded them for acting on saving precious human lives.
Refreshments were provided to the participants of the rally which ended at the Tamil Nadu College of Engineering.
