Coimbatore: The Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research conducted a Youth Awareness Program on January 30 in its auditorium on campus.

S Brinda, the Assistant Superintendent of Police in Pollachi was the Chief Guest at the Youth Awareness Program.

The Dean of Karpagam Medical College, Dr. Anbu N Aravizhi, the Medical Superintendents Dr. Ranganathan and Dr. Veerakesari along with the members of the Karpagam faculty, clinicians and students attended the program.

The Chief Guest, S Brinda had an interactive session with students regarding problems faced by the younger generation and ways to cope.
She emphasised on the need to focus on priorities in order to achieve their goals. She also provided insight into the cyber world and the dangers it poses to today’s youth.
S Brinda also highlighted five key points which every student needs to bear in mind to protect themselves from the dangers of internet crimes.
Her valuable advice on how to overcome gender inequalities was well appreciated by all gathered at the program.
