A pledge was then taken by the faculty and students of the college. The students sang the Flag Song and then students belonging to each year of study dedicated a patriotic song to mark India's 74th Republic Day and honour the event.
Coimbatore: Karpagam Nursing College celebrated the 74th Republic Day at its campus in Coimbatore with patriotic fervour.
The celebration began with a prayer song (Tamil Thai Vazhthu) after which the national flag was unfurled by the Principal of Karpagam Nursing College, Prof. R Sutha. A pledge was then taken by the faculty and students of the college.
The students sang the Flag Song after which students belonging to each year of study dedicated a patriotic song to mark Republic Day and honour the event. The celebration concluded with the national anthem, with sweets distributed to all those gathered.
