Coimbatore: Volunteers comprising second year students from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) organised a special NSS Camp which is being held from January 5-11. About 416 volunteers along with NSS POs hosted the camp.
Today, on the sixth day of the camp, the Deputy Director General (DDG) of ICAR, New Delhi, Dr. R S Aggrawal visited TNAU's special NSS camp at Appachimar Thirumana Kovil Mandapam, in Madampatti.

During his visit. Dr. R S Aggrawal interacted with the volunteers. All the officials were welcomed at the camp with the traditional NSS clap. The DDG witnessed the special exhibition on work done throughout the NSS camp by volunteers. The DDG appreciated the volunteers after the exhibition and further motivated them to keep continuing more activities.
TNAU's Vice-Chancellor supported the volunteers by joining them in the explanation of the work done to the DDG and the implements were distributed by the DDG to the volunteers.
