Coimbatore: The 18th Graduation Day of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC)was held on Saturday.
V.Rathna Sabapathy, Former Superintendent of Police and Ex-Member, TNPSC was the Chief Guest. K.Adithya, Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions presided.Dr.R.Jagajeevan, Principal of the college welcomed and read the college report. CEO Dr.K.Sundararaman, Deans, Controller of Examinations, Faculties and graduates attended the function.

"Some of you may be worried about entering the workplace during a time when opportunities and businesses are on a down trend due to a global recession. Let me assure you that every college graduate feels the same", he said.
He said that people with ideas and innovation succeed even in hard times. He urged them to generate more ideas, and continue to refine them.
The Chief Guest in his graduation day address shared how his hard pursuit of studies helped him elevate in life. "Acquire knowledge, it is a treasure," he said. He shared that in today's world, getting degrees will not do; one needs to have a desire in a specific field, develop passion in that area and keep upgrading himself in that area.
He said that the best positions in life come when one has a thirst for knowledge. He wished the students to bring happiness to their parents and add greatness to thereputation of their alma mater.
