Industry 5.0 is expected to bring about many evolutions in the industrial field.
Coimbatore: Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC) celebrated its Silver Jubilee year and organised a one-day conference on Industry 5.0 for the Education Sector in Coimbatore.

Dr. Radhakrishnan, Head, Commerce Industry Integrated introduced the Chief Guest Chandra Koduru, General Manager and Head, Academic Interface Programme (AIP), Tata Consultancy Services, Bengaluru.

"Industry 5.0 is going to bring about many evolutions in the industrial field. The world is witnessing too many changes now in almost all fields. We are now living in an advanced world. Technology made people sit and think in one place. Any changes in technology should not affect humanitarianism. Everybody can access anything from anywhere. All industrial revolutions are replacing human beings. But the new Industrial Revolution aims to work with both machines and human beings. We are going to live and work in a super smart society by the new Industrial Revolutions 5.0.
Industry 5.0 emphasises that Industry achieves societal goals beyond jobs and growth to become a resilient provider of prosperity. It ensures human beings are included along with machines. It also focuses on the protection of the environment. New industrial revolution builds an efficient process that uses the least resources to obtain the highest benefits having human beings. Due to the 5.0, we are going to get industrial blockchain, drones, exoskeletons, additive technology, 5G and beyond and mixed reality.
Industry and various organizations are going to get various new innovative benefits and are going to help human beings in many ways. The main focus of 5.0 is sustainability, humancentric and resilience, There will be a blend of technology with marketing, services, finance, health and human beings," stated Chandra Koduru.
CA Karthik Chandrasekhar, Senior Manager, Zynga, Chennai, Kannan Manoharan, OD & Talent Management Specialist, GMR Airport Limited, Hyderabad and Gopi Swaminathan, Senior Technical Director & Additional, State Informatics officer, NIC, Puducherry also shared their experiences during the program.
The 25th Silver Jubilee Logo was also launched at the event.

S Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions presided over the program, while Dr. R Jagajeevan, Principal of SKASC welcomed the gathering.
