Coimbatore: Karpagam Nursing College held a lamp-lighting ceremony for its 14th batch of first-year students on Tuesday, August 30 at its Coimbatore campus.

The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. P Aruna, MBBS, DPH Deputy Director of Health Services in Coimbatore. Dr. P Aruna stressed the importance of communication skills in the Nursing career. Chairman and Managing Trustee, Dr. R Vasanthakumar and Chief Executive Officer K Murugiah graced the event to bless the students. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Sudha, Principal, Karpagam Nursing College.

The students were then led in a procession with their lamps lit by dignitaries.
