The Karpagam College of Nursing celebrated the 75th Indian Independence Day with true patriotic fervour and joy

The 'royal salute' for the national flag was done by all the students and faculty members present.


Coimbatore: The celebrations began with a welcome speech by a final-year student which was followed by the college's Principal Prof. Sudha hoisting the national flag. This was followed by the 'royal salute' for the national flag by all the students and faculty members present.



Thereafter, the national anthem and flag songs were sung by the choir team of the college. Elocution competitions were also conducted for students on the topic "Contribution of nurses toward the growth of India." The Principal of Karpagam College of Nursing announced the names of the winners. In closing, sweets were distributed to all.
