Coimbatore: Ahead of the 75th Indian Independence Day, Coimbatore's Park Global School celebrated Independence Day on August 12 with great joy and. patriotic fervour.
The program began with a prayer song after which the Principal of Park Global School welcomed the gathering.
The students spoke about the lives of freedom fighters, with most of the junior class students dressed as freedom fighters
Dr Anusha Ravi, CEO, Park Institutions inaugurated various events for the students as part of the 75th Independence Day celebrations. Lauding the students for highlighting the lives of the great Indian freedom fighters, Dr. Anusha Ravi said, "Remembering our past is extremely important for that is the way to honour our Freedom Fighters."
Prizes for academic excellence were distributed to students who got excellent marks in the previous academic year's examination.
The 75th Indian Independence Day program drew to a fitting finale with the national anthem. Thereon, sweets were distributed to all those gathered at the celebrations.
