3-Android projectors and internet facilities at a cost of Rs.50,000/- were provided to the school principals in the presence of mayor with the help of Corporation Rotary and Skylink for class 10 in Government High School and 8th standard in Corporation Middle School under 10th ward.

In order to convert the classrooms of all government schools from 8th standard to 12th standard under Coimbatore Corporation North Zone into e-classrooms, a scheme called Digitally Connected has been formulated and in the first phase, 3-Android projectors have been provided at an estimated cost of Rs.50,000/- for 10th standard at Government High School, Poonthottam Nagar under 10th ward and 8th standard in Corporation Middle School in Shahjahan Nagar at an estimated cost of Rs.50,000/-. It was handed over to school principals in the presence of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar with the help of Coimbatore Corporation Rotary and Skylink.
The event was attended by Coimbatore North Zone President V. Kathirvel, volunteers, school teachers and students.
