Coimbatore: An awareness program on Drug Abuse and its Effects was held by the Prohibition Division of the Coimbatore District Police at Coimbatore's Karpagam Academy of Higher Education.
The Coimbatore District Police Prohibition Division's Deputy Superintendent, Selvaraj addressed the students. "The future of the youth is ruined by drugs.
Severe punishments are meted out to those involved in drug-related crimes and I caution the youth to be vigilant in this regard," warned Selvaraj.
The event was attended by the Professors and students of Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, as well as officials from the Police Department.
