In his interaction with students, he acknowledged the role played by Karpagam University, the Dept. of ECE, and particularly, Lt.Dr.K.P.Sridhar (HOD ECE) for directing him to Civil Services and Defense Services. He stressed the importance of having the right kind of mentors and friends for shaping the path to success.
When it came to his preparation for UPSC, he said many aspirants felt UPSC was tough. According to him, good fundamentals, thorough knowledge of the basics, and a deep understanding of social issues and current affairs were the keys to success. He further stressed that in the Civil Services interview process, the candidate’s ability to analyse issues from different angles and present a balanced view was essential. He said that the interview process attempted to assess the candidate’s personality traits and the ability to provide a balanced perspective on any given issue.

He acknowledged that the ecosystem in Karpagam Institutions was a nice platform for anyone aspiring for success. He was delighted with the commitment shown by Dr. R.
