The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore conducted one day workshop and hands-on training with Ford and Mahindra respectively, on 19th and 20th April, in which students from various colleges participated.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore conducted a one day workshop on Latest Automotive Technology Introduced in Modern Cars on 19th April 2022. Students from various colleges participated in the workshop.

Advanced technologies embedded in the latest model Ford Ecosport and Hyundai Creta cars were explained to the participants. The faculty coordinators gave the technical lecture with PowerPoint and animation on working and functioning of the car. The demo of the working of the systems in the car was performed.

Similarly, on the 20th, they conducted a hands on training on Disassemble and Rebuilding of Mahindra Car Engine. Students from various colleges participated in the training. The participants dismantled the Mahindra TUV 300 and XUV 300 engines under the guidance of the faculty coordinators.

The faculty coordinators gave a technical lecture with PowerPoint and animation on working and functioning of the car. After the presentation, the participants were guided to reassemble the engine back.
