Coimbatore: City's Karpagam College of Engineering and Institutions Innovation Council conducted an Internal Hackathon – Project Expo on Tuesday, March 29 as part of the 'SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2022.'

86 teams registered for the Internal Hackathon out of which 38 projects were selected after three rounds of internal reviews. Dr. Anand M, Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and Dr. Meera Devi Thiagarajan, Head of the Department, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kongu Engineering College, Erode were the Chief Guests at the event.
They evaluated the projects depending on their innovation, viability, feasibility and their purpose to society. Two of the best projects were chosen based on the above-mentioned criteria and cash awards were presented to the deserving teams.

Dr. S Karthigaikumar, Dean – Academics, Karpagam College of Engineering distributed the certificates to the teams in the presence of the Heads of Departments and other faculty members from various departments.
