The Women Empowerment Club of Karpagam Institute of Technology, conducted “Yuvaika’22 – Women’s Day Celebration†on Saturday, 12th March. The Principal Dr. P.Manimaran, Vice Principal Dr.D.Bhanu, Chief Guests Dr.M.Mathumitha MD, Dermatologist and Cosmetologist, KFMSR and Er.P.Sujatha, Assistant Divisional Engineer, Highways Department, Coimbatore presided over the function and Faculty Members and Students of Karpagam Institute of Technology were on board.
Programs such as Nail Art, Mehendi, Verse writing, Fashion parade, Dancing, Singing and various other events were organized at the celebration to bring out the latent talents of the participants.
The Chief Guest Dr.M.Mathumitha expressed her views on women’s mental and physical health and also clearly pointed that the fairness creams from the market doesn’t bring beauty rather the confidence that is built from within brings. Chief Guest Er.P.Sujatha shared her experience from her own family which boosted women’s courage.
She enlightened the importance of education for women and also she emphasized that a women is complete when she has not only beauty but confidence, responsibility and ability to earn.

The winners of the competitions were felicitated at the end of the program.
